She graduated from University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. She is passionate about patient care, orthodontics, facial aesthetics and having fun at work. In her words: “I am so excited to work with my husband at our family dental practice. We have been working hard towards this chapter of our lives and I am grateful to own and operate University Square Dental Associates with Dr. Pollan. I appreciate the environment where I can operate at the highest level and keep my patients comfortable.”

Her dental career leading up to University Square Dental exposed her to a wide range of patients with diverse health, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Dr. Reimer took advanced training in Invisalign orthodontics, Botox and fillers and facial esthetic dentistry.

When she is not at the dental office, she enjoys gardening, hiking, walking her dog, drinking coffee, and enjoying Madison with her husband.

Meet Chamfer

Chamfer is Dr. Pollan and Dr. Reimer’s dog and was adopted from Texas in May of 2018. Since then, he has been a member of the University Square Dental team. Chamfer is our therapy animal and is here to help our patients with dental anxiety. Therapy certified with Pet Partners and American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen. He loves meeting new people, belly rubs, and stylish bandanas. He stays healthy by biking, hiking, and rollerblading with his family. Chamfer gets out of bed every day excited to meet new friends and make dentistry fun!

Why the name Chamfer?

It is a bit of an inside joke from the dental world. Chamfer is the name of a dental instrument that is used to design and prepare teeth for crowns! The rounded finish line allows for a smooth transition from natural tooth to gold or ceramic and is what helps protect our teeth from bacteria and decay. Chamfer is at the office regularly to help our patients with dental anxiety. He’s a great addition!
